Stryi

Stryi is the ancient town of Lviv region, founded in the 14th century. I’ve been there many times, and therefore I share my impressions of all trips.

Staryi Sambir

Being in Sambir I learnt that when there was tatar-mongol invasion, people who settled here gave this name in memory of a town burnt down by enemy. The first Sambir was on fire and arose from ashes a few times, becoming Staryi Sambir. And this is not surprising as it was founded in 11th century. What kind of life is Staryi Sambir living now at the threshold of it’s millennium?

Henichesk. A town by the sea

I’ll remember May 2016 since I discovered a wonderful town of southern Ukraine, which was sunny and green, peaceful and hospitable. Let me share my impressions of the trip to Henichesk — one of best the seaside towns of Ukraine, open for tourists and vacationists.
