Yasinia. An Easy Short Route to Heredzhivka (818 m)
The village of Yasinia lies at the crossroads of tourist routes between the Svydovets and Chornohora ranges. The Yasinia railway station is the terminus for trains from Kyiv, Zaporizhzhia, Odesa and Kharkiv, and travellers from various regions of Ukraine choose this distinctive Hutsul village to master mountaineering skills. When, on long hikes with significant elevation changes, the wisdom of the trail has been absorbed, the backpacks are packed and there are 2-3 hours left before the train departs, an unhurried ascent of Mount Heredzhivka near the station will be the farewell chord of a Transcarpathian holiday.

The Malevskyi Complex. Picturesque and Little-Known
Despite all its achievements, humankind is inextricably linked to nature, which has given the people of Earth water, air, light, and warmth. People make everything they need for life from natural materials and forget to value and protect these priceless gifts. Nature offers visual aids for understanding the material world and inspires admiration for the astonishing beauty of the surrounding environment. One of the geological clues to the planetary order can be considered the rocky Malevskyi Complex, located in the south-eastern part of the sub-Carpathian village of Deliatyn.

Lviv. The Lovers' Clock, Least Known and Most Romantic
Clocks in cities serve as timekeepers and are an element of décor, tourist magnets. But in Lviv there are such guardians of time that tourists do not know about, and not all locals have heard of this curiosity. The 6-storey «Nobilis» hotel faces onto Oleksandr Fredro and Ihor Bilozir streets. The hotel opened in late 2011, and during Euro 2012 the Portugal national team stayed there. The «Nobilis» apartments are also chosen by the footballers of Donetsk's «Shakhtar» during their stays in Lviv.

Anyone who has been to Vorokhta has been rewarded with the beauty of the Ukrainian Carpathians, walked the mountain trails, and taken many memorable photos against the backdrop of natural and architectural landmarks. In 2024 the village was included in The Best Tourism Villages list of the world's 55 best villages.

Lviv. The Greenhouse in Stryiskyi Park
Winter gardens were very popular in the 18th–19th centuries, and in castles and villas wealthy owners would add halls with panoramic windows for growing exotic plants. In Lviv, besides the greenhouse complex in the botanical garden of the Ivan Franko University, another subtropical oasis has been created — it is located in Stryiskyi Park. Admission to the tropical flora exhibition is free.

Lviv's Fountains, Waterfalls and Water Jets
Lviv's fountains on holiday. After the equipment was dismantled, they were prepared for the winter season. The nozzles were washed with special high-pressure cleaners, the accumulated debris was cleared away, and everything was mothballed until spring. Fountains always adorn squares, green zones and the grounds of educational and health institutions, and they are among the most beautiful architectural masterpieces. I invite you on a photo and video walk through Lviv to structures that demonstrate the use of the law of universal gravitation, engineering logic and designer imagination.

The Carpathians. A Hike to Yahidna and Lisniv Ridge
To the question "Why do people go to the mountains?", everyone who has climbed mountain ridges and slopes even once will answer: "To change your surroundings, to be alone with nature and your own thoughts, to have an active rest, to be inspired and recharged." So why deny yourself? In the Ukrainian Carpathians there are one-day routes that do not demand a great expenditure of strength and time, yet in feeling and perception are no worse than ascents of the record-breaking peaks.

Lviv. The Courtyard Museum. No Entry for Outsiders
Lviv counts more than 40 museums – state-run, private, open-air. The historic centre could itself be called one continuous museum with an unbroken stream of tourists and guests of Ukraine's cultural capital. Lviv folk are creative people with imagination, and in the very heart of this museum-city, in the courtyard of an ordinary residential house, they created their own unofficial museum, which won no small popularity in its few years of existence.

Yasinia. The Museum of Local History
Every town or village ought to begin with a museum of local history or at least a museum room. Local history exhibitions preserve our traditions and cultural heritage, our historical records and objects of the past; they shape the national ethnic code and touch the state of the soul. In Yasinia, in the Zakarpattia region, one of the finest museums of local history in the district has been running since 1966.
