The quarantine restrictions on the work of public transport could not but affect the choice of routes. Hiking in rural areas, where crowds are not to be seen but a walk through unfamiliar places promises to be instructive, was so far not prohibited. The choice fell on the settlements of the Lysivka rural council of the Pokrovsk district in the Donetsk region.

On the third Saturday of April, Ukraine marks the ecological professional holiday, Environment Day. Protected areas in the agglomerations of the industrial cities of Donbas especially need the strengthening of nature-conservation measures.

Chunyshyne station. The railway station building. Neglected, closed, forgotten

A small photo-report about the closed Chunyshyne station was planned, but one wants to show every corner of the abandoned railway station. Small stations, welcoming, tidy, become unprofitable and are closed, deciding the fates of the people who worked here and the fates of the stations, those abandoned toilers. Perhaps here someone waited for a suburban train in the waiting hall, someone met and saw off their relatives and friends.
