Lviv. The Science Museum. A Fantastic Journey

This museum is not like its counterparts in the usual sense — a tour of the displays in quiet halls in the company of a guide. At the Lviv Science Museum you can explore the exhibits with the help of integrated programmes. The museum and education centre opened its doors on 25 December 2022 at 200a Stryiska Street, in a two-storey building specially constructed for the purpose, with a floor area of 2,200 square metres.

Electrification, which supplies energy to industry and to household consumers, has taken on a special importance during the war in Ukraine. How the making and the growth of electrification in Lviv and the region came about can be learned at the Museum of the History of Electrification of the Lviv Region, which is housed in the building of the advisory centre for work with electricity consumers.
