Yasinia. A Historical, Tourist and Cultural Centre of Transcarpathia. And Not Just the Mountains

Yasinia is a settlement in the south-west of the Transcarpathian region, 30 kilometres from the district centre of Rakhiv. The nearby Chornohora and Svydovets ranges attract tourists in both winter and summer.

Shchyrets. The Kirkut – Part of the Cultural and Historical Heritage of a Galician Town

Before the Second World War, Shchyrets was considered one of the centres of Jewish life in Galicia. The old Jewish cemetery on the eastern edge of the settlement is part of the cultural and historical heritage of a vanished Jewish community.

Loieva. The railway station. Condemned to oblivion and destruction

Loieva is a passenger halt in the village of the same name in the Nadvirna district of the Ivano-Frankivsk region. It lies between the stations of Nadvirna and Deliatyn on the Ivano-Frankivsk-Deliatyn line and belongs to the Lviv Railway.
