The routes of rural tourism in the Donetsk region include the village of Prelesne, known for its Bantysh palace of the 19th century and the museum of folk architecture, everyday life and children's creativity. The museum is recognised as one of the seven wonders of the Sloviansk district and is the only one of its kind in Eastern Ukraine.

The Mysterious and Treacherous Tarakaniv Fort. Stories, Legends, Riddles

The Tarakaniv Fort is one of the most mystical sites of Ukraine. It is not included in the routes of organised tourists, and you will not read about it in the magazine-catalogues for travellers. It is not like other fortresses and castles, but its history has preserved no fewer secrets and riddles than the popular places of tourist pilgrimage.
