Prosiana. The Village Where Everything Was the Biggest, the First, the Unusual and the Beautiful
Prosiana — a village in the Dnipropetrovsk region that emerged at the end of the 19th century. Today, in this village — which 30–40 years ago was promising and looked no worse than a town — there are more downsides than upsides. My walk through this settlement, «golden» in the past, took me about 3 hours, and here is what I managed to learn and see.

The Sundial. An astronomical instrument, a monument of science and a decorative ornament
The sundial has been known since ancient times; for many centuries it has not only shown the time but also served as a park ornament, a beautiful addition to historic squares and the facades of buildings. The length and movement of the shadow cast by the gnomon make it possible to see what hour it is. Craftsmen worked on the device so that the clock would show the exact time and remain an architectural adornment of cities.
