A market, a trading place is the calling card of a city or town. Every Friday in Vorokhta, Ivano-Frankivsk region, the market square turns into a bustling bazaar, and although today is not a market day, the season is not very touristy, the weather has completely deteriorated, and it is late afternoon, the market in Vorokhta near the train station is still operating, and a wandering traveler has the opportunity to buy souvenirs as a keepsake, gifts for home, and Carpathian delicacies to treat their colleagues at work and their family at home.

Even a few minutes before the train, you can manage to run into the station market and buy local food and sweets for the road.
Legendary Hutsul cheeses – salty, sweet, hard, soft, and brined – are prepared according to unknown recipes with the addition of magical spices.
And sausages and juicy baked ham – meat delicacies and seasonings for them have a natural composition and tempting names: "Hutsul Brawler", "On Firewood". Alluring smoked, semi-smoked, and dry-cured sausages have an attractive appearance, an unforgettable aroma, and give off a dizzying hint of smoke. Salo always has a special appetizing appeal. Traditional recipes are passed down from generation to generation and are preserved in every family to this day. The variety of types and colors of honey, drinks, and tinctures is a test of endurance.
On the souvenir stands, there is a hit parade of wooden products, jewelry, toys, dishes, picture frames, and various trinkets. Sellers gladly recount that lizhnyks, blankets, and embroidered shirts are brought from the Kosiv region, where real craftsmen live in every house, and every estate is a workshop and an art studio. The products on the market embody the diversity of Ukrainian traditions and give buyers local color and quality.
