Health treatment and rest in Truskavets are impossible without walks through the Resort Park, an ideal place for inspiration and peace of mind. This forest-park massif of astonishing beauty is intended for relaxation; it gives vital energy and tenderness to the soul. It is enough to wander the alleys, admire this picturesque corner, and grow stronger in health.

This 60-hectare woodland, in the valley of the Vorotyshche mountain stream, has the status of a monument of landscape-gardening art of national importance.

At the end of the 19th century, at one of the finest balneological resorts, the "Adamivka" park was laid out, named after the owner of the health resort and the initiator of the park's creation, Adam Sapieha. From the city centre to the healing springs, alleys with a total length of 14 kilometres were laid, which shaped the structure of the green oasis that now ranks among the best parks in Ukraine.

The gardener Jozef Jablonski was there at the start of developing the architectural-landscape complex and planting exotic species. The green wealth is made up of oaks, ashes, beeches, hornbeams, maples, chestnuts, and hazel. The natives were joined by Crimean, black, and Weymouth pines, the Japanese pagoda tree and Japanese plum, plane tree, boxwood, dogwood, sakura, tulip tree, and other botanical wonders. Plaques are mounted on the trunks of the park's inhabitants so the holidaymakers can get to know their green friend.

Ozone therapy, phytotherapy, and walking on foot in a green environment, together with hydrotherapy, are core treatment procedures, since they have a beneficial effect on blood circulation, the respiratory system, and the strengthening of immunity. Terrainkur signs mark the health trails.

The wooden pavilions built over the spring catchments, as old as the park itself, are not only its adornment but also lend the forest-park zone a fairy-tale quality.

The park's collection of sculptures took shape as the Truskavets natural landmark was founded. One of the oldest surviving city monuments is the bust of Adam Mickiewicz, unveiled in the very centre of the park for the poet's centenary in 1898.

The statue of the Mother of God, protector of thoughts and soul, was placed on a rise in 1900 at the expense of a grateful spa visitor.

Later, other park sculptures, distinguished by their artistic concept, appeared on the terraces of "Adamivka". This decorative complement to the diversity of the plant world invites one to reflect and imagine.

In 2018, in honour of the soldiers who died in the ATO, Mother's Garden was established on an open section of the picturesque slope, with the planting of young apple trees and the installation of memorial signs.

While taking a health-giving promenade, holidaymakers must observe the reserve's rules and protect the green specimens of this conservation area.

But the green estate itself also needs constant care, timely pest control, and comprehensive help. The centuries-old relics fall ill, dry out, and get damaged, and in strong wind branches often break, creating a dangerous situation on the paths. Without clearing away unwanted vegetation, the pond in the bed of the watercourse turns into a dirty puddle.

Special attention is needed for the spring-catchment structures, unique and unrepeatable at a Ukrainian resort. Volunteers and the numerous health resorts of this popular tourist location could take part in renewing and cleaning the green area. Only constant professional care for this natural landmark will help preserve the green resources and the beauty of the flora and fauna.
