Near the hotel, on Ihor Bilozir Street, spectators gather every Sunday for a free, several-minute show.
On the second-floor balcony, clockmaker Oleksii Burnaiev, sculptor Roman Haba and blacksmith Denys Staroman created a mechanical timepiece with musical accompaniment and an unusual performance. At first the client wanted to see two bell-ringers, but the din would have been unwelcome for the hotel's guests. The idea of lady friends over coffee was also rejected. On Sunday at 12.00, beside the round dial with Roman numerals, a young lady and a minstrel with a guitar meet. After the chimes strike, the melody by Francis Lai from the film «Love Story» rings out. The woman sits, gazes at her suitor and covers her face with a fan. The gentleman plucks the strings, chords sound, and the spectators recall the familiar tune. As a token of gratitude, the lady holds out a rose to the gentleman.
At the evening date at 18:00, the romantic weekend ends to the accompaniment of the song «Nich yaka misiachna» («What a Moonlit Night»).
